ALA Cultural Days in Denver!
The American Latvian Association (ALA) is sponsoring "ALA Cultural Days in Denver" the weekend of February 12 - 14, 2010, that will take place at our Latvian Culture Center in Lakewood. The weekend program will include presentations from members of the current ALA Board of Directors, (including the current president, Mr. Juris Mezinskis), video presentations, information on Latvian language/educational programs, Latvian ethnic crafts, a Saturday night dance featuring the Lithuanian band, "Kolorado Vabalai," and a ski outing to Winter Park! Come and get acquainted! Participants from other states will be in attendance. Mark your calendar, spend this Presidents Day weekend with us! Skiing at Winter Park, CO – (Lifts open at 9:00 am until 4:00 pm)
After skiing we invite everyone to “Apres ski” - Winter Park Condominiums from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm (We will serve pizza, snack and drinks)
Participation Costs:
Attend ALL Saturday Events: $50 (Includes workshops, breakfast, lunch, The Dance and refreshments)
Single Events : $10.00 per workshop, $6.00 breakfast, $8.00 lunch
No Charge for Children attending Latvian Craft Workshop. Breakfast & lunch offered for children $3.00 and $4.00
Dance Only: $20
Skiing: - Transportation to Winter Park will be provided by Latvian Culture
Center members, (to be arranged on 2/12/2010)

- Purchase Lift Ticket at King Soopers, cost is $85
- Winter Park prices:
- Adult all day Lift Ticket $92
- Adult half-day Lift Ticket $85
