Welcome!

 

We are the Colorado Latvian School ‘SAULE’, located in Denver and are now in our third year of teaching.

School takes place on Sundays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  We accept children from ages 5 to 15 years old.  Children are placed in groups depending on their language skills and age.

We have created a Latvian environment where the children are taught Latvian language, grammar, culture, art, sport, nature, history, geography and folklore.

We especially focus on traditions, celebrations, and creative projects.  We celebrate Latvian events, prepare traditional Latvian foods, do creative arts and crafts, do sports, dance, and generally learn what Latvia has to offer culturally and traditionally.
